NOTES >
Colortone's second CD, 2000's "Lullabies For Starlets," was recorded and presented to Seraph Records only shortly after the debut "Constructive Stumblings" hit stores.  Therefore, the label was forced to put the sophomore effort on hold until its predecessor was properly promoted.  Less than a year later, Seraph folded and Dickie turned his attentions to his new rock band, Jupiter Blue.  "Lullabies For Starlets" was unfortunately lost in the shuffle and has not been made available to the public until now.  "LFS" takes Colortone in a darker, more melancholy direction.  Much like Colortone's debut, "LFS" is lush and complex and requires the listener's 100% attention in order to be fully appreciated.  Dickie states that the entire record was written over the course of a particular relationship, and several songs from the record strangely predicted its beginning, course, and tragic end.
